2025 Swim Lessons Sign-up Opportunities

New in 2025 is an online recreation management system that allows patrons to submit registration and make payments online for swimming lessons, facility rentals, and season passes. Online registration for 2025 swimming lessons will become available at 9 AM on Thursday, May 15, 2025. 

Steps to register online for swimming lessons 

1. Navigate to tongiewaterpark.activityreg.com

2. Create a user account or login/recover your password if you already have an account or have used the water park in the past.

3. Click "Register for Swim Lessons" in the Quick Links section.

4. Click "2025 Swim Lessons", select from the available dates, times, and levels, and proceed through the checkout process.

Before registering, please use the link below to review the detailed descriptions of each of the Level 1-6 skills and exit requirements (standards used for determining passing each level) for swimming lessons and determine which Level is appropriate for your child to be registered in.

An in-person sign-up opportunity for 2025 Tonganoxie Water Park swim lessons will also be held Sunday, May 18, 2024 from 5:30 PM to 8:00 PM.  The location will be at the Tonganoxie Water Park Admissions Office. Please note that this opportunity will occur after the offering of signs ups online. 

Schedule

Public Lessons Dates:  

  • June 2 - June 12 (10AM, 11AM sessions only)       
  • June 16 - June 26        
  • June 30 - July 10 (10AM, 11AM sessions only)                             
  • July 15- July 25 (10AM, 11AM sessions only)

Public Lesson Times: 

  • 9:00 to 9:45 am                    
  • 10:00 to 10:45am                      
  • 11:00 to 11:45am 

Levels 1-6

Group Lessons:  2-Week Duration, 8 Count Class Session - $40

Private Lessons: Eight half-hour sessions - $80 total

Classes run Monday through Thursday for 45 minutes each. Levels 1-6 are offered, minimum age is 4 years old. Fridays are used as rain make-up days. All participants must abide by pool rules. Any participant who fails to do so can be removed from the class without a refund. Enrollment is on a first come, first serve basis. Classes fill up so register early!
