Planning Commission
The Tonganoxie Planning Commission consists of seven volunteers that serve staggered three-year terms. Members are delegated administrative approvals of preliminary plats and site plans and otherwise recommend to the City Council approvals of plats, plans, special use permits, zoning changes, variances, etc.
The Planning Commission meets the first Thursday of every month at 7 PM in the City Council Chambers.
The mission is, "To ensure managed quality growth that enhances the town's character with great respect for the history and lifestyle of Tonganoxie".
