Notice of Bridge Replacement - Church Street between Ann St & 8th Street

The City is contracting with Linaweaver Construction, Inc. to complete a bridge replacement project for the Church Street Bridge located along Church Street between Ann Street & 8th Street. The bridge project construction activities are expected to commence on December 12, 2022 and be completed in early summer 2023. All work will be completed by Linaweaver Construction, Inc. and its subcontractors.

Nearby streets will be closed or reduced to one lane vehicular access at times during the construction activities but access to Church Street north of Ann Street (across the bridge span) will not be available from the commencement of the project until construction is completed. To better accommodate local traffic access for nearby residents a temporary roadway to connect Grace Street & Shawnee Street will be created at the current eastbound dead end of Grace Street.
