The City of Tonganoxie is seeking interested persons to fill a vacant position on the City Planning Commission. Applications will be reviewed as they are received with the first scheduled comprehensive review planned for November 6, 2025. An appointment to the Planning Commission is made by the Mayor with the consent of the majority of the City Council and typically applicants are invited to present their credentials and interest in the position at a meeting of the City Planning Commission before an appointment is made by the Mayor. 

This vacant position must be held by a resident of the City of Tonganoxie and the term of the appointment to this position will last until May 2027.
