Notice of Water Tower Coating Rehabilitation Services (Resurfacing) Project - Elevated Water Tower in general vicinity of Highway 24/40 & Laming Road

The City of Tonganoxie issued a request for proposals for water tower coating rehabilitation services (resurfacing) in February 2025 for the City’s 250,000-gallon capacity elevated water tower located near HW 24-40 and Laming Road. This facility was originally constructed in 1997. A contract was awarded to Maguire Iron Inc. for this project at a City Council meeting in March 2025 and activities commenced on site in September 2025. It is expected that work will be completed in October 2025.
