The City of Tonganoxie is contracting with Little Joe’s Asphalt to complete an asphalt edge milling and overlay street maintenance project on Main St. from State Avenue south to 4^th Street. The contractor is responsible for traffic control, including placement, maintenance, and removal of all work zone traffic and/or pedestrian control devices. 

The work is currently anticipated to start on Thursday, October 15 at 7:00 AM and conclude on Friday, October 16. Since this project will require temporary closure of portions of Main Street while the street maintenance work is being completed and delays may be experienced, it is recommended to take alternative routes avoiding the project area during the duration of the project.  

Please see the map provided as an attachment for information on the project area and possible street closures. The timing of this project is intended to coincide with days the USD 464 school facilities are not in session.
