Kansas, its cities, and its counties are governed by open access policies with regard to public meetings and workings of the city.

Anyone may come to city hall and view a public record in the presence of staff free of charge.  Making an appointment will allow staff to schedule sufficient time to serve you.  To obtain a copy of a public record, Chapter 1, Article 6, of the City Code requires a fee of $10.00 per hour of staff time plus 25 cents per page.
