Residents can sign up for voluntary curbside recycling starting November 4th.

On Tuesday, September 2nd, the City Council approved an agreement with Honey Creek Disposal to begin a voluntary curbside recycling program starting November 1st. Those wishing to participate will pay an additional $4 per month and will be able to recycling glass, plastic containers, cardboard, paperboard, paper and aluminum/steel cans. Click here for a complete list of recyclable materials.

Recycling will be collected twice per month starting the first week of November and every other week thereafter. While residents are restricted to the amount of trash they can fit in their containers, residents can have unlimited amounts of recycling. Those who sign up for the service will receive one 65 gallon recycling cart. Anything additional that does not fit can be placed in cardboard boxes placed next to the recycling bin.
